Brilliant hotel in a fantastic location. Very clean & comfortable. Food good and service excellent.
A little noise at times but expected in a central location.
Location, reception service
generally OK, but the maitenance service is bad. Especially room cleaning.
Friendly staff, close to th ebeach and the old city
Services , bathroom , no free Internet
Good clean hotel in good location providing all that we required
Food was just about acceptable
Excellent central location.Good food and friendly staff.
We booked this as a family holiday but found the pool area poor and not suitable for the children.
The location was great and hotel staff very helpful
Hotel was quite old and halls were cavernuous.
Staff, food, location - close to everywhere.
Walls are a little bit to thin, so if you have trouble sleeping it can be hard to sleep if someone is snoring next to you.
A well priced hotel that was basic but clean in an excellent location - staff were very friendly and helpful. Excellent hot and cold buffet breakfast included in the price.
Nothing apart from it does not have it´s own parking, however a large car park is nearby at a reasonable daily charge.
The reception staff were friendly and helpful. They had internet in common areas.Excellent location , about 8 mins walk to the sea.
The bathroom had splashes of human excrement and the bed cover had a “protein stain” when we arrived. The hotel does not have parking and it was a bit inconvenient as the hotel is in the city and there is very little parking. The hotel is old and they still use the old key system for the room door which felt unsafe-we locked our laptop in our car when we left the room. There was buffet breakfast which was nice but the breakfast staff were rude and stopped topping up the food 30 mins before the end of breakfast
The only problem was facilities were not as on internet irons and board in room but okay
Central location for the beach and the old town.
Breakfast was poor. Coffee machine needs attention as when getting boiling water the coffee still drips.
The location was excellent, next to old town and only a few minutes walk from the beach. The food was good too, just the right amount of choice and good quality, with something different every night for dinner (starter, sweet and breakfast similar each day, but choice of 4-5 different mains each night). Had lunch one day and it was very good too. Spanish and European dishes. Rooms were good size and large balcony. Fridge in room very useful. Hair dryer etc too.
The roof top pool was very cool despite the over 30 degree air temperature which was disappointing as my 5 year old daughter screamed every time she tried to get in and came out instantly and normally swimming is the best bit of the holiday for her (my parents staying in an other hotel and its roof top pool was also cool). If you are at the far end of the hotel you hear the bins being collected every night. The bin lorry empties the bins every night sometime between 12.20-1.20am, so we would generally be up till them and put light off after they were emptied. Noise only lasted 2-3min. Probably much quieter at the other end of hotel rooms 1-18. Despite these two points I would stay in this hotel as over all very good for price, location and quality.
I liked the fact that it was so close to the beach. Also it was only 45 mins away from the Airport. The staff at the reception was very helpful and friendly. The hotel was also very clean and well looked after.
Perhaps a sign at reception that breakfast actually finishes at 10. 30. In Irish hotels once you arrive before 10.30 you can still get your breakfast. I f you knew beforehand that everything finishes at 10.30 you could give yourself plenty of time to get down.
